Light from the sun is the natural energy source that we need
every day, particularly in enclosed rooms. And ENERsign® windows
gives us access to this energy. They allow bright daylight and
sufficient heat from the sun into the building. This can then be
used for heating purposes, allowing us to play our part in protecting
our limited natural resources and our beleaguered climate, not to
mention our health and sense of well-being.

To ensure that optimum use is made of natural light energy, the size of
each ENERsign® window is planned with respect to its orientation,
i.e. whether it faces the south, west or east. South-facing windows, in
particular, enjoy a high level of energy transfer when generously
dimensioned. A variety of shade regulation systems can be incorporated
to control brightness, and in turn, the room climate and temperature.
