ENERsign®primus, the world’s first coordinated complete system for windows, sliding doors, front doors and shading is different from existing generations of window and sliding door systems. Because for the first time, ENERsign® primus, with its minimalist elegance, can be matched to the architecture with its slim, symmetrical design and particularly high aesthetic standards. The external appearance of the house remains uniform – design meets quality.

From the inside, the wall-integrated ENERsign®primus wood-aluminium windows offer a cosy homeliness made of local natural woods. The circumferential slim frame profiles and generous glass surfaces form a harmonious unit.

The frameless sash view (integral frame) always guarantees a continuous horizontal glass line even with fixed and tilt and turn elements. From the outside, the windows captivate with a narrow frame perfectly integrated into the building envelope.

The ENERsign® shading elements are also installed concealed in the wall as a complete system.

Soundproofing

The effects of noise are unpleasant and can have a negative effect on the human organism if the intensity and duration are appropriate. Noise is perceived through fluctuations in air pressure, which are picked up by the human ear and transmitted to the brain. The sound insulation of a window is measured in decibels. The higher the numerical value, the better the sound insulation. The sound insulation indicates how much sound energy is transmitted by the original sound energy. With an insulation of 10 dB, 1/10 of the original sound energy is transmitted, with 20 dB 1/100, with 30 dB 1/1000 etc.; a reduction of 1 dB is perceived by humans as halving the volume. The sound insulation of the window depends on the frame material, insulating glass, tightness of the window and the building connection.

The U-value window is also called heat transfer coefficient and according to the standard DIN EN 10077 it indicates the amount of thermal energy lost through a window to the outside.

The U-value window is calculated using the formula W/(m²K), i.e. watts per square metre and Kelvin. This value refers to the entire window and defines the amount of energy per unit of time that flows through an area of one square meter when the air temperature on both sides differs by one Kelvin. The lower this value is, the less energy or heat the window emits.
